I've lived and worked in Bristol, London and Seoul, South Korea, and am now in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. I have two part-time church jobs - one in South London and the other as Acting General Secretary of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. I retain my keen-ness for all things related to Wigan - I rejoice with the Latics, mourn with Wigan and Orrell, tell everybody to go to Wigan Pier, read `Past Forward' and generally get proud and sentimental!
I miss: I had a fabulous childhood - a supportive family, excellent friends, good schooling, interesting chapel (Methodist), great heroes (especially Billy Boston), lots of opportunities. I don't really `miss' it as it's part of who I am. But I do believe that Wigan's meat and potato pies and fish n chips are the best!
