Wigan ex-pats (Latin America)

Comments: Lived in Hindley Green, Atherton, Gidlow Lane and then Standish before moving to the south west, Germany for a while, and now Mexico after taking a very early 'retirement' about 10 years ago.

I miss: Not much. I'm back twice a year anyway, visit mum and have a little reunion with old school/work chums.

Comments: went to all saints lived in poolstock then in hodges st.moved over here in 1983 sheet metal worker by trade.

I miss: irealy do not miss anything as my wife <pauline> who used to work int bakery next to jack tomorows makes the best meat&pot pies,pork pies,andsteak puddings in the southern hemisphere.as for the beer, ibrew my own,

Comments: Born in Billinge lived and schooled in Orrell. University of London and now living 15 years in Mexico. I don't miss the weather!

I miss: Fish n Chips and a decent pint of Bitter.

Comments: lived norley hall, went to kendal 1972, spain 1986, dorset 1989, came to margarita in 2003 after retiring early (very) as a gas man

I miss: nothing much as I have a holiday every year, am going for 6 months inmarch 2007

Comments: Lived in Hawkley Hall moved away 13 years ago. At moment not doing much, learning spanish, eating empanadas generally chilling

I miss: I miss that drizzle you get even on summer days, over here its either too hot or a tropical storm. As soon as I return to Wigan after meeting my family I intend to get tucked into steak pudding, chips peas and gravy from Peters chinese chippy

Comments: I was born and grew up in Abram, went to school Hindley 66-69. I have lived quite a few places around the world i.e Kathmand, Falkland Island, Cyprus and now Belize, as you can guess my husband is in the Army. I work as an information officer for the Army, and love the live.

I miss: The things I miss about Wigan.. My sister Julie and the rest of my family, the shops and the cold wether.. as its always hot over here.

Comments: I used to live in Wigan, but moved to work in Billinge Fish Bar. I used to love going to Liquid and Princes and dancing to "Its raining Men" and "YMCA". Classic

I miss: I miss watching my favourite team Wigan beat the Saints.
