My kids are my life as all mums would agree
They mean the absolute world to me
From being small babies they've brought me such joy
I've been so blessed to have a girl and a boy
They've given me such pleasure, not to mention a few tears
Also so much love we have shared through the years
Each one on their own have gone their own way
But made me feel proud more than words can say
I've shared all their problems, their joy and their fears
Privately I've shed a whole lot of tears
When I've needed their help they've been there for me
To give their support they're my children you see
So as I grow older I need them to know
How very much I love them so
Whatever lies ahead, whatever may come
I'm so very proud to be "Their Mum".
