Box 1. Roll 58 Easter Leet 2nd April 1687 Presentments Henry Orrell for assaulting Michael Jackson Mary the wife of Laurence Taylor "did entice Wm. Taylor to depart and Leave his Masters Service" And William Warburton did the like. And that the said Laurence "knoweing the said William to bee inticed from his Service did and does harbor him with his masters goods" That Adam Banckes junior and Ralph Dean "being duely elected gatewaiters for this towne did refuse their oath and offices" The highway leading from Walgate end to Adam Bridge to be repaired.
