does anybody know where I can find the words to the Houghton Weavers songs "The Martians have landed in Wigan" and "Ballad of Wigan Pier"? I have a Yorkshire friend whos heard these and hes taken a shine to them, but i cant find the lyrics anywhere for love nor money! it would be a big help if anybody could give me a link. thank you

Would love to find Reynolds or Howards that were from Wigan. Have the coat of arms for both. Also searching for information on a Alice Bold who married James Reynolds. She died in 1904 but that is all that was known other than the seven children they had. James Reynolds remarried in 1905 and in 1906 he emmigrated to Chile where he had nine more children!

I have found two old friends this last week and hoping to find more so come on get those fingers moving ,did you go Rose Bridge school Ince Wigan Lancs between 1953 -1957. Where you in the Boys Brigade at Ince Parish, Bickershaw or St Catherines? or perhaps in the Church Lads Brigade between 1950 and 1977?. Thanks Wigan World keep up the good work.
