how would i gt in touch with the lady who does the cemetary details

Boprn in wigan 1935 st michaels and gidlow sec mod schools.I lve this site ,especilly all the photos of mesnes park .Oh how the town centre has changed !!Dont like all the old lovely buildings being demolished though to make way for the "modern eyesores" Havnt heard one person say anything good about the wigan town council. happy happy memoties of "old" wigan upto me leaving in 1952.innocent happy days.

Its great but sad, but in a nice way, great, as it rekindles my memories, past memories of streets and areas i played in as a child, and reminds of folk now departed from this life.

I have an old wardrobe w/the name Warburtons Hope Street Wigan. I was hoping to get more info about this company. What a wonderful site this is! Makes me want to visit your town.

I recently googled my dad after he passed away and found this site. it was lovely to see how many memories he had written on the site. Although i knew him as my dad it was nice to learn about him as a teenager. This site has made me laugh so much with all the memories and i just wanted to know if anyone has any stories about him that they could share with me. He is James Fairhurst born 1951. brother to mark fairhurst. I think they only lived on stratford street in wigan before he moved to fleetwood... anyway what a brilliant site! made me smile to read my dads memories x

Trying to find any info on James, Mary Ellen and Gerald Duffy. James managed a bar called "Duffy's Ship Hotel, Wigan, The Pier" during early and mid 1900s.Son Gerald was a violinist, died in 2002 or 3. Thank you.

We emigrated to Australia in 1966 and would be happy to hear from Wigan people. We visit the site of Wiganworld regularly and find it interesting and like to look at the photos.
