i knew harold well i knew his mother and father and sisters he lived in brook st not water sthe was at dunkirk with my uncle and cousin from incei but brook st i knew his mothrer knew harold pizzey very well he was at dunkirk with our jimmy thy didnt live in water st

At 1901 census James Born 1843 a coalminer and wife Mary Ann Kirby Born 1861 from Southport. Children Richard Kirby and children Elizabeth (my Grandmother) Born 1888. Margaret Brogan Born 1890, James Brogan Born 1892, Thomas Brogan Born 1894 Mary Jane Brogan Born 1896. Norah Brogan Born 1998 and John Born 1899. They lived at 9 Whittedge Green, Ashton in Makerfield.
