looking for my family

I am looking for Shirley Moss who lived at 4 Frog lane then Southport, and i think has now moved back to Wigan, she was a friend of my brother John Coppack.

We have come across a diary which my dad once found when working on an old house in Wigan. Does anyone belong to a Joan Ellis who has signed the diary 1929. In it she describes her love of going to shows and talks about Madge Elliott and Cyril Pritchard. The diary was given to her for Xmas by a Nancy & Vera Parish or Jarish. She also mentions actor Charles Goulding and acresss Aileen Davies

I never knew that Wigan exist in the map of UK till I met him. Since then , I became interested and started Google Searching to know the History of this place.
Now, I guess , don't need to go thru Google, for sure, the answer for my searching is on this site already,very informative or should I say - it's like a "package deal" - "thumbs up" for the team behind this site, you've done a good job !I'm not a Wiganer but I can say that - by heart , yes I AM!

All my life , i never eat beans! Because i don't really like it but after i tasted Heinz baked beans , a "big wow" ! Not only taste good , it's one of a kind!Taste is perfect - not too sweet like other baked beans. No wonder, it's listed as one of Wigan's Famous food Products.

I love your pork pie! Taste great! I'm dying to visit Wigan .I'm cravin' for a pack of "Mr. Porky" too. My boyfriend used to bring me foodstuffs from Wigan everytime he travels back home. I haven't visited Wigan yet but your place already have a spot on my heart. I'm a fan of "Wigan Warrior" as well.

Hello, I am searching for any information on Col Horace Mayhew's business dealings from approx 1900-1820 and/or the personal affairs of Col Mayhew. His eldest son died in Sydney, NS in 1906 and I am researching the story, hoping there is a history of the family available or that an ancestor is living and interest in corresponding with me.
