Does anyone remember the Potteries, off Pottery Road, next to Eckersley Mill?

Was browsing past input. My mother was a pit brow lass. She is now 99yrs old

Does anyone know anything about a James McCracken who was a printer and lived at 124 Greenfield Houses?

just been on greenfield house site . i went to school at st mary,s with brian smith and frances blake . john kearns was my mate in old polly,s class lol.tried to register but its down .

The site successfully brings back a lot of good memories.
I have added a comment to a 1962 newspaper photo in the Thomas Linacre picture file.
I would love to hear from Frank Healy who lived at 44 Springfield Road when I lived up the road at number 50.
Some time ago I saw on the site a section containing comments by ex-pupils of the Thomas Linacre School, but have been unable to find it since: is it still there?
If I can get round the technology, I have photos that could be added to the site.
