Message for BRIAN GALLAGHER, Brian, who runs the site, may be able to help you. His e.mail address is, brian@wiganworld.co.uk If your problem can be sorted, he will help you. By the way,its a long shot, but you don't happen to be the Brian Gallagher who worked as a t/v tech with me, many years ago?

I would really like to be able to access Wiganworld, but, unfortunately, even though I previously registered, I am not recognised when I try to retrieve my password.

I keep seeing blogs from people I know, but can't join in. How sad, since it is not possible to re-register at the moment.

Hi Stephen
The Waggon works have gone there is now a housing estate in its place, most of ince worked there. Farmer st, was demolished at least 40yrs ago not exact though. my husband says his mother had no sisters named Margret so maybe connected some other way.

Hi Stephen i really though Hodson was an uncommon surname until i started doing my family tree. My grandad was born in Abram Warrington road. He had 10 bothers and sisters who stayed around the Abram or Ince areas of wigan. Do you have margarets parents names? If so I may be able to link to some of the info I have on my family tree.
