You ask for old photos yet the supply must be finite, how long is the gap between old and modern and do we have to keep our in between photos for 50 years before you want them? I think what you mean is photos of something that has gone for good that people under 30 never saw. has anything been done in Wigan since that is worth remembering?

Hi, Steven Driscoll, my wife lived next door to a Margaret Hodson in the POTTERIES area of Wigan until the late 60,s.and she seems to think that she went to live in Southport Lancs but we can,t confirm that she ever returned to Wigan good luck in your search

I would like to warn all dog walkers around Haigh hall and the canal area, to be aware of a male with 4 Lurcher/greyhounds unleased. These dogs attack other dogs and are dangerous. The police have been informed of several attacks. This man needs stopping.
