As I've not been able to register to the site for several months now due to some kind of site maintenance, I thought I'd try the guestbook for help.
I'm interested in contacting WiganWorld member Jen2312 regarding a family history matter. She has been trying to find my mother and I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to pass on my email address so she can contact me ( mojo_60s@hotmail.com ).
I'd be most grateful for any help.

Very interesting site, I had hoped to find photo's of my Winstanley's and Darbyshire's, but no such luck. My maternal grandfather was James Winstanley, born 1894 in Orrell, he and his brother William (1897), and sister Jane (1896) were the children of William Winstanley and Elizabeth Darbyshire. I remember visiting Wigan in 1945 with my grandparents when William's daughter Lilian (1921) was preparing for her marriage to Ronald Samuel White, I was their 5 year old bridesmaid.

The organist seated at the console in the company of Staff members is non-other than RONALD CURTIS, who later had his own organ building and maintenence business at the PARAMOUNT ORGAN STUDIO, Smiths Road, Darcy Lever, Bolton. He went on to become a very famous broadcasting and recording organist and his final engagements were as the custodian and resident organist at the famous Odeon Cinema, Leicester Sq, London, where he played the Compton cinema organ for as many as 20 Royal Premieres. I would very much like to use this photo in a forthcoming video of his life. Would this be possible?

Love this site!!! y mother-in-law is Jean Priestley (formerly Reid) and we have greatly enjoyed looking at the Wigan pics, looking for anyone she might have grown up with. She turns 90 in October, a long time since 1926. I will upload a picture of Jean and her sister Florence and would love to hear from anyone who knew them.
Thank-you,
Steve
