I was looking for information about Alexander Crombie monumental stonemason from hinley wigan and found the advert you have on your website. this is my husband's greatgrandfather. alfred his son was my husband's grandfather. can anyone link in with this family. they lived at the address on the advert. in 1881 Castle Hill. I was looking for any record of my father's mother - Polly Morgan - who MAY have been born in Orrell, around 1894 (this is from the 1901 census and my estimate of her age at time and county of orgin). However, I do not see any Morgans listed in the 1881 directory.
