just popped is dower house farm and the search engien brought it up

I was absolutley thrilled to see the old pictures of Dower House Farm, what a shame it was demolished......i coundt belive the counicl were not prepared to put a presavation order on it or invest some money to save it in 1994, the house remained pertty much the same inside and out as shown in the photographs untill damaged by fire, the entire site was then demolished

hi terrence,re bryn labour club,in the late 1940s on a saturday night they used to have dancing but due to there being a full size billiard table in the room everyone had to dance in a clockwise motion around the table the best dancers at that time was polly ince & harry wild, ask joe charnock

I was born t'other side o' pennines lol
My mum was born in Wigan and every summer in my younger days, mum and I would go to Wigan and stay with her Aunts ( my great Aunts) at 35 Woodhouse Lane. Sadly they are all gone now, but warm fun memories remain.
