lHi Jimmy & Cathy I've found out that Jimmy Conner last worked for Sankey & Monks Funeral directors in Leigh, may be some of the books were given to someone that worked there. Also Edna's son took the books that were left and gave them out to his family & friends, she has no idea were any of them live. And she won't give us her telephone number. So if you can give the said funeral directors a bell they may be able to help you
out. Please let me know.

Excellent site for getting background info. Found Skelton Street (1891 census)and Wigan Road, Bryn (1911 Census. Looks as though the houses have been knocked down and either rebuilt or turned into a park respectively. Any one with further in drop me an email please as i am also looking for High Brooks (or Burke)cottages from the 1871 Census and i have hit a brick wall. Many thanks in advance Dean Sabin
