Dont think its the same Harry Walder.He was a hair dresser,when i talked to him , a few years ago in Wigan.

If this is the same Harry Walder, he used to live in Darlington Street and painted many scenes of Wigan which were sold in Smiths on Mesnes Street.
Although Harry and his wife have been dead for some time, his daughter is still alive.

Anyone remember ice scateing on the clarry , Higher Ince,useing the sides of your clog,s as scate;s.somebody must remember that.I went to Rose Bridge School 1944.Just mension a couple of names .Edward Jones harry Warlder Ronald Rudd Mates at School.

I wore clogs to school --Steven,
as did 70% of the lads going to Hindley St Peters in the 40's

Isn't it funny when you find something out for people on threads on here they never let you know if they are happy with the outcome.

my father came from school lane garswood born in 1941 use to hang out in turpin woods went to ourlady school wearing clogs
