im trying ti trace our family tree and im lookin for my mums fathers family his name alfred marsh, sister sarah he had two sons alfred and herbert and they were my mums half bros anybody can help i would be gratefull.

Found the site very interesting. I miss lots of things about Wigan. Would like to try and trace some school friends from Abraham Guest, Orrell from 1967 to 1970, Susan Norburn, Susan Taylor, Linda Parkinson from Class B

Brilliant site makes me very nostalgic for Wigan and all that goes with it.

brilliant site. I am reaching my family history and have found it really helpful. All the old photo's of North Ashton are fab. There was one photo on of Annie & Wilf Thomas, who used to live at Graswood, I am Annie's Great Niece, would love to hear from any-one who can tell me more stories.
