Hi everyone
It would be best for anyone wanting information for you to become members of Communicate, not the Forum, and ask your questions there, as you have a better chance of getting a reply. Not everyone reads the Guestbook so, as TerryW suggests, join up as there are lots of people very willing to help. There are several sections available in which to put your questions, to which you will definitely receive assistance.
Good luck.

All of my maternal family came from Hindley Green. My maternal Grandmother lived in Barracks Yard, which I'm sure is no longer there. My Grand mother's Maiden was Emma Marsh, her married name was Cunliffe. She died early, as did her husband Walter. I wonder if there is anyone out there who may remember the family. I there are any who know about the Marsh/Cunliffe family, I would love to hear from them.

Hi.
In 1977 I worked at Wigan Asda as a Produce Manager trainee. The store was on strike and I stayed in a B&B in Wigan. I was taken by locals to a Dance Hall where they were dancing to Northern Soul Music. I don't think it was the Casino, but it might have been. I remember the dance floor had columns on it. Does anyone know where this may have been.
Thanks .

I noticed Davies SB enquiringly about Henry Moore on the people forum. I believe Henry is my GG grandfather. He was the father of my Gt grandmother Elizabeth Moore who married Samuel Yates. Henry was born in Blackrod. I have further details if interested of Henry's forebears. My email would be available from Ron @Wiganworld
