Platt Lane. She would have been my great aunt.
My grandmother was Charlotte her sister.

I extend my sincere congratulations to All Wiganers. Winners of, The FA Cup, The Rugby League Challenge Cup and the Super League Grand Final. This all in one season, a simply remarkable achievement. Dare I say, that I don't think this will be matched for many, many years,...if ever!

Hi i'm back again, i have recently seen an old picture that some of you winganers have commented on.It is an old school picture all girls taken in 1948. a Minnie Picton was comenting on the picture, if your reading this Minnie could you please tell me how old the rear line of girls were in this picture please.Or anybody elese that is reading this the picture was posted on here in 2008 yours in anticipation steven

Wiganworld is a wonderful place to find old friends and make new ones....I found an old school chum and we are keeping in touch by email....
I have had the greatest fun....lots of laughs and also a few tears...but all in all I am so very glad to be here... :-)
