Absolutely brilliant. I moved to Macclesfield from Wigan a couple of years ago, but still visit my parents and sister weekly - but you can't blame me can you!! Still the best place to live

I'm from Horwich and road the bus to Wigan for 5 years - 3 at the last Commercial College of Wigan Tech (51 to 53) then worked at Wigan Post Office for 2 years 53 to 55.
Went to one class reunion in Wigan. Just enjoyed your site

I found it very interesting, hoping to trace my father's roots. He moved to Hartlepool when he met my mother in the early fifties. he was called Francis Thomas Anthony Glover 1921 in 28 Boundary st. Ince Wigan.
