anybody a peter moran i think that was is name be in is 30s now married i remember he ad i kid he used to drink in the beer engine poolstock.he worked in the building industry then got made redundant i think hes working at the bread works nr lowthers cakes in aspull can anyone help cheers

a few weeks ago you could get into wigan via poolstock lane/poolstock, no problem. can anybody prove the sense in putting that road up, over the canal and then down again? it is totally pointless and is creating traffic congestion. these planners we've got are wasting money on stupid projects that are not needed. in the future no-one will want to come to wigan and it will become a ghosttown. the sooner things are changed the better.
