Very nice site. Is there someonne who's remember one of my schoolfriends which name is Lisa Prescott? She and I went to Britannia Bridge school in the 70's and if I remember, she lived near Hilton Street Lower Ince. I'll be pleased to receive some news of her that can be on my email address. Thanks.

been trying to contact peter thompson who lived in old road ashton-in-mekerfield 1944-1950 he was the son of dr thompson & had a brother named edward, last known to be running a motor repair garage in atherton area & although now 73yrs old is still working in his repair garage. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP?

hi toni the reason im in scotland is my wife comes from here..and she doesnt want to settle down anywhere else...as for you friend in wigan ..if he,s not prepared to find a job whatever the circumstances ..he deserves to have little money...there are many 1 parent familys out there who work so wot makes him different ...we have all got bills to pay ..ive got 4 kids myself .a morgage ..bank loan but i still work ..my younger daughter is down syndrome ..but that doesnt stop me from workin ..so if your friend want sympathy dont look to ordinary workin ppl for it

toni your pal in wigan with 3 kids and no job sounds really lazy to me there are plenty of jobs out there it doesnt matter if he,s skilled or unskilled ..any job would do if he,s got any diginity he,d take anything ...but alot of ppl out there just doesnt want to work and they think the state owes them a living
