Wigan looks lovely. A wonderful blend of old and new. Beautiful lush green countryside - as opposed to the desert we live in.

i think its a great site

what a brilliant website.i always love looking at old photos of wigan & the surrounding area (what a shame that twenty bridges is now in such a state of disrepair)
ill post some old railway photos as soon as i sort out my problematic old scanner

Very good website... Just moved here from the south. Love this place. Lots of history in this town. There is only this website has so much about Wigan on it. Will contribute some nice photos of Wigan soon.

oh yes i remember court school of dancing very well. i learned to dance there. i went from 1964 - 1967 but i cant remember any of the instructors. I met my husband there and we have been married for forty years. thanks for many happy memories.

I can't see any difference in communicating through the forum or debating via communicate.
If a member can read and write messages in the guestbook, announcing their annoyance at being denied the communicate section, surely they can read and write messages on the forum?
The guestbook is just as the title suggests, it's not a reserve communicate.
Stop being negative and sulky, just get on with it!

I agree with JJ. I think there was an over-reaction. They didn't close Old Trafford because there were a few bad apples. They used to bar them. The Communicate boards are badly missed. I have looked at the Forums since the board was shut and they are a waste of time.

I agree - it's a pity that the communications site has to be spoiled by a few slapheads.
I am looking forward to the site being opened again. I have found some really nice people on the site and enjoy looking every day at the various comments

Brian dont let the pressure get to you. your site is fantastic..i have met and been re-united with old friends.. i have watched the site develop without being involved at the start but when i joined in i met many genuine people. the people who want to denigrate other users should read the posting rules and if they cannot abide by them then they should go to another site.

Bet you dont print this cos I think you you are well out of order in suspending the communication site You dont deserve a loyal following that you have had since I was here 2006 .
If you have a bad section then by allmeans exclude the 5% and dont apologise to 95% by saying sorry so my advise is to reinstate the communicate site then kick out the rubbish (even if that means Me )

IM sure brian knows which side his bread is buttered and sometimes realise that his stand by man mr Hunt could have been abit panicky

Miss the 'communicate' but totally agree with the suspension.Keep up the good work Brian!
