Is there anything more annoying than doing one only to find out there's one piece missing.
I demanded my 25p back at the charity shop ????

I-spy you should have counted the pieces before starting the puzzle

That is frustrating, I-Spy.

I hope you got a refund plus compensation.

Although it is Christmas, I-Spy, a time for peace and goodwill, so you could just forgive them that £&@! missing piece.

Charity begins at hole.

You can do what I once did in my teens when I was infuriated with the audacity of a missing piece of jig that I got as a present at school.
I passed a piece of paper under the offending missing jig-part. Then I traced the outline before transferring it to card of the same thickness as the jigsaw. I then painted it to match. It wasn't exactly true to the original but was sort of ok. If you haven't any artistic skills then you could pay an artist to do it... or just buy another one for the original price and don't be a bloody Christmas scrooge!!!! ha ha!

A friend of mine just completed a Christmas puzzle - 1 edge piece missing, 2 identical pieces left over but neither are edges. Apparently the company in question has a department for missing pieces

Update -------- missing piece found under the sofa, but still has the two extra pieces
