....... Stop people from saying "droring"!

It's really annoying me,and they won't stop. It's spreading too!

It's"drawing"! "draw-wing"! it has an "a" and a "w", "aw" and it'spronounced "aw", not "ore"!

"d-r-a-w-i-n-g"!

They think they're being clever. The bloody idiots!

That's telling you!

And, while I'm on about it, why have young people stopped pronouncing the letter "t"?

Just laziness Tonks I'm afraid...my pet hate is when at the end of every sentence their voice climbs to a crescendo..it drives me mad.

It's SO at the start of a sentence that annoys me.

Tonks, Tony Bliar got rid of the 't' in our alphabet. No MP uses it, rarely heard in the English soaps, (Chari'y Dingle), etc., Alistair Campbell never uses it, advert 'you're in the driving seat now Bri'ain".and so on. Never used at the BBC.

It isn't very long ago I mentioned my pet hate "y'know". With many people it's uttered almost at the end of every sentence.

I had a course of electrocution lessons but, I still cornt speyck proper, So I don't try, A wiganer trying to talk posh is an embarrassment, I remember a time we went to Wembley and called in a posh restraunt for our tey, They had a person asking if the meal was ok, My mate Willie Eckerkile says in a Posh Wigan accent," Oh yes my good man, those sorte potato's were so good, I could eight a pon full " ,

I was on a do and we called for something to eat at a tidy place, when asked was everything OK one of the lads replied the PRATOES were lovely and I am not making that up.
