To Admin

Love the site.

Any chance you could put in a search engine of your own so that users can look for relevant posts?

How do I get back into my post to make a correction?

As I said - LOVE the site.

Does anyone remember the Marsh family at 60 Billinge Road, Wigan? Or, later, the Horace (Not sure about this name) and Nellie Dean and son Robert at the same address? (Horace made a model steam train that is now owned, I think, by the Wigan Railroad Society).

Or the Nellie and Lily Dean also at 60 Billinge Road?

Or Lily and Lambert Hodkinson on Billinge Road with their son, Arthur?

Or Margaret Marsh of Billing Road (and, apparently, later, at 17 Field Street, Wigan,) whose daughter married Canadian airman Gene Gervais and moved to Vancouver after WW11?

Or Bill Marsh, my Dad, who grew up at 60 Billinge.

Hi Dougie

My family lived at 255 Wigan Road across from the Star Hotel. They were the Armstrong’s.

My uncle was Edmund and would be in his 90’s if he was still alive. Regards

Just a note to say thank you very much for your wonderful site. Through your Ince cemetery listing, I was able to find two of my great aunts who died in infancy - Sarah Ann Ogden and Sarah Annie Ogden. Their father (my great grandfather) Joseph Ogden emigrated to Birmingham, Alabama and is noted as a pioneer in opening up the steel industry there. His son (my great uncle) Arthur Thomas, who was born in Ince, ultimately became (by 1946) the senior contract officer for the US General Accounting Office.

Thanks again for your wonderful site.

Hi,
Fantastic site. We think we have found great grandma and grandad’s grave. Any other information on the Riddick family around 1920 would be appreciated. Also any information on a confectioners business at the same time, in the Hindley area run by a lady called Phoebe?
Thank you

Hi Dougie, you're spot on with his age. Find my past lists him as Edmund born in 1928 and his current location as Whitledge Green. A stones throw from the house on Wigan Road.
