I can't believe how beautiful the place I'm moving to is. I mean I live in Wales and we have some stunning views but the way these have been captured are amazing. Looking forward to my new life there now.

I'm looking for relatives of the Shropshire Davies family. Several moved and settled to the Wigan area in the mid to late 1800s.

Great site lived in Zambia 25 years. Grandparents Bill and Polly lived in New Springs, longbridge Street. Dad Roy and his siblings Terry, Alan, Tommy and Joyce were well known in the area.

Good site. Easy to use. I'm still looking for Dennis White and John Bishop, late of Warrington Road, Newtown. Old mates from the 'Jaw Bone'. By the way, is the 'Jaw Bone' still standing?

Been on the site many times - brings back many happy memories. Read comments re Julie Norris - she emigrated to Aus some years ago. I was married to one of her brothers. Anyone know how she's doing. She has 3 children, Paul, Shirley and Alison. Thanks for any help.

Tapped into the internet to find out more about Wigan. My husband's mother Margaret Ellen Ball was from Wigan. Her father Edward Thomas Ball, married Mary Carlin. It was a large family of about 9, coming to Canada about 1912. Am trying to get some geneology done. Anyone out there know our family??

Wigan has a wonderful heritage and lovely friendly people. What fascinates me to this day is the fact that in my head I can run films of Wigan; my days of playing with my band at the King of Clubs, Bier Keller, and a host of venues, Billy Boston in particular, Wigan Little Theatre and so much more. Wigan is a cherished treasure that remains with me forever. Sentimental old sod I might be but I am so proud of my hoime town!

I'm looking for a woman named Carolyn Anderson. She has a sister and a brother in the military. I got to know her in the Excite chat site and then we shared some time in Yahoo. I would like to hear from her or at least know if she's alive. Please contact me by email (jebunce624@yahoo.com) or have her contact me.
