tomplum and all, never consider those years nor those changing characteristics - if you enjoy what you are doing and the ability to pursue that chosen interest is still with you, then carry on with ambitious enthusiasm and ignore the deterrent which tries to knock you down.

Wigan and the bordering areas are full of musicians and many are, as tomplum described in his first sentence of this post: '...getting long in't tooth'.
Sadly, many of these musicians aren't known to a large percentage of local people and some of these musicians no longer take to the stage. Fortunately, some of these 'getting long in't tooth' musicians still perform their chosen music to a listening crowd of people and one venue which regularly holds music events (every two weeks) is The Unity Club in Standish.
