Here's one coming my way... I'd better hold on to my hat/wig or anything else that might detach

If ya don't like snow ya shouldn't live here, it's a children's paradise when it comes to playing in the snow
Mind you adults who love winter sports soon dig out their ski gear.

Just our luck we have an art show Saturday and have to travel to it,maybe snow will cancel the event

POTENT LATE FALL STORM TO IMPACT UPPER MICHIGAN THIS WEEKEND

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS WESTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN LATE ON FRIDAY AND INTO SOUTHEAST CANADA ON SATURDAY.
NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS THAT WILL GUST AS HIGH AS 50 TO 55 MPH NEAR
LAKE SUPERIOR AND TO NEAR 45 MPH OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL IN ITS WAKE
WILL DRAW MUCH COLDER AIR INTO THE UPPER LAKES ON FRIDAY NIGHT

CAUSING RAIN THAT WILL FALL AHEAD OF THE LOW PRESSURE TO CHANGE TO
SNOW. EXPECT AS MUCH AS 3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW TO ACCUMULATE OVER THE
HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTH CENTRAL AND WESTERN UPPER MICHIGAN FRIDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL ALSO RESULT IN
SOME BLOWING SNOW. ANY SNOW ACCUMULATION OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL FROM
IRON MOUNTAIN TO ESCANABA AND MENOMINEE WILL BE LESS THAN AN INCH.

THE STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS ACROSS LAKE SUPERIOR WILL ALSO WHIP UP
WAVES AS HIGH AS 15 TO 20 FEET FROM THE TIP OF THE KEWEENAW
PENINSULA TO SHORELINE AREAS EAST OF MARQUETTE TO WHITEFISH POINT.
THESE WAVES COULD CAUSE SOME LAKESHORE FLOODING AND SIGNIFICANT
BEACH EROSION FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY NIGHT.

THOSE WITH OUTDOOR INTERESTS OR PLANNING TRAVEL ACROSS UPPER
MICHIGAN THIS WEEKEND SHOULD STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR
OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS FOR FURTHER UPDATES AND STATEMENTS ON THIS
DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM.
