Handbags   (The sad, the bad and the ugly. Non-productive stuff here.)

My first visit after the two years probationary period was a little stressed, I had to do to the Detroit office, not a nice place to be.
The morning of the appointment, there was no were to park, manage eventually to part in a back street.
When Mrs b and I went in we were the token white folk, there were all colours and races of people trying to sort their immigration papers out.
They must go every day with no end result, we waited ten minutes and called in for our appointment, all eyes were on us bypassing the hordes.
The official asked us if we were still happily married and sharing the same address, he nodded to us and we said YES! He looked at all our joint bills and bank statement, stamped approved on the application for and we were out in 15 mins, again over 200 people daggers drawn watching us leave.
We got out of Detroit asap and back up north, that was my first 10yr green card experience, the second 10yr signup went super smooth at Grand Rapids mi, I was thankful I didn't have to go to Detroit again.
