Wasn't it a thread saying how that idiot had "got my measure"?
With the timing of the deletion it looks like an exercise in self preservation, he has seen the thread on the Generalboard and realised even he can only defend the indefensible for so long and it would damage him to be seen giving any support to that buffon whatsoever any longer, so he has pulled it.
