Franny was my hero when I was a kid.

As a catholic I got to choose my confirmation name and there was only one.....Francis.

RIP Franny,

There aren't many legends of that era left, (of any clubs' football team).
Mike Summerbee is still flying the flag for City and long may he do so. Those were different times when Mike owned a boutique with his mate George (bless him).

Two gentlemen of their time who could teach today's players a think or two.

Anyway, back to Franny, I remember when he took over in th 90's and held City's AGM at Manchester airport because he said that, that was where the team would be flying from for European games!

A chap with a sense of humour or a prophet....... you decide.
