brian i tried genealogy starting from wigan to preston and i found my ancestors came from north berwick . on the scottish side..and there is a place called fishwick the same size of wigan..its all farmland now and a few houses i was talking to local farmer and he told me 100s of years ago there was a village ..a church..and a family vault which still stands in fishwick still today..im still researching it its handy me living in scotland now to..so if anyone wanting to finding out about family go for it..its hard work but its worth the effort
