Really sorry for your loss Goldenbear. My hubby, John Baxter would have been 69 August 2022 and as a young lad worked briefly at Slipperworks so he may well have known Ann. I am very sorry for all you have been through yourself. That can get lost amongst the loss of your much loved sister. John died just 64 in 2019 from bowel cancer. He was dying when I had to tell him I had breast cancer. Weeks later we lost our 3 yr old grandson (he shares his coffin with John). After that 4 close friends of many years died and finally my Uncle (6 deaths plus my cancer within 9 months of 2019. Last year our eldest grandson, 19 also died. Going through a big cancer operation alone was very hard, so though I didn't have the number of operations you had, I did go through gruelling radiotherapy etc. I refused treatement as John needed me, then bereft, so it had spread to my lymphs so ended up with incurable nerve pain, so I have an vague idea what you have been through/going through. I send you hugs and my very best regards. Val aka Dolly
