I think the George Formby statue is a great idea, its the cost though which is a worry.I know that the council is not footing all of the cost but it is still a lot of money nonetheless. I always felt sorry for George, i dont know behind the laughter i see sadness, (sorry, just havin a psychic moment).
Wigan casino cafe - i was too young for this era( just about) love the music though. I know some people that would love this. We need to keep our memories alive of Wigan. Sorry, if this dissapoints Tonker!
