I only went in twice,once when I was very young up in Harper st and about 1972 when looking for a job and there were many jobs available,you could just take your pick.Freddie Whittle was the caretaker and it was always smart,even the lawns and hedges.We used to play on our trollies coming down and turning into Harper st and there were always someone who turned over.At the back there was we always thought was an air raid shelter.
