Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Both my great grandfather, John Gormally, and his brother, Peter Gormally, had some involvement with Top Place Iron works close to Top Lock, Aspull. Some of their sons were also employed at the iron works for a while. My great grandfather's connection with Top Place would have been around the beginning of the 20th century.
