Chris, those names are a blast from the past, I remember all the Golborne surveyors and linesmen you mentioned, was'nt there also an apprentice called Joe?. I heard that Barry Shaw passed away a couple of years ago. I bumped into John Presscot a few months ago and I saw Peter Cunningham after the rugby final at wembley. I have'nt seen Carpet for about a year.
