Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Being a deputy myself not going into the pig -pen was looked upon has a slight perk of the job.(like the mythical key to the exec toilet) It allowed the deputies to get into the cage 1st before the rest of the men. Once up the pit and you had cleared the lamp room the miners went for a shower and then to the canteen/home. The deputies had to make out a daily report and see the undermanager before going for a shower but most caught the same coaches as the miners so did not want to hold everyone up from getting home. More than once I let the coach go and caught a bus home before holding everyone back for me.
