It wasn’t about occupational pensions, it was stated that UK NI pensions are much lower than their European counterparts.
UK pensioners can obtain pension credit if they qualify. It’s a tax free top up which can open the door to other financial benefits. Over 3 million UK households qualify for pension credit.
