Tommy Tee Bone, Yoo are missing the whole point of WHY those cycle lane were build at much expence to the tax payer and many months of traffic disruption to local drivers at which, they vented their anger at us, the cyclists,
They are built in the hope that people will see the harm cars are doing to themselves and the environment and that cycling and walking is much healthier and kinder in the long run to their children but, if cars are using the cycle lanes then this is no longer a pleasure to use as, If a cyclist tells a motorist off. he/she gets verbal obtuse and that can lead to physical assault, I know this from personal experience, Lots and lots of drivers still do not know or completely ignore the 'one and a half meter 'rule to give to cyclists and if the police had a purge on that, They would get rich quick from the fines given out,,
