Nj: I've never heard of eggshells for repulsing cats. How do you (or your gardener) do it? The broken sides up or down, in a row, random, all in one area, round the side?

The cats that come in my garden leave dead birds, mice and voles, they're horrid. I've tried pepper spray and all sorts.
