Tonks: You did indeedy.
I agree with you in that Local Elections no longer mean anything and a lot of that is due to MPs and Councillors, especially CEOs, not being from the area, and not being local.
But I can't understand why Wigan Council voted to join the CAZ when it didn't need to.

I think it was jo-anne (might be wrong) who said Local Elections were important, and then gave a list of the power Local Councils had in various areas, education, housing, etc. (Ha ha ha).
