US has these in development. Will be a few years until it can deploy any.
Hence an advantage to Putin, which will erode.

Yes, the poor quality of his army is apparent. This has not impeded the mass destruction which he has wrought in the past.

Conscripted armies are, with a couple of exceptions, poor quality. Conflict today needs well trained professional personnel.

But if you signal in advance that you will not use them, they become as useful as a chocolate teapot!
