Should it toughen up its act?

Is it wise to move cautiously, and avoid widening the current conflict?

Or, does signalling NATO's weakness and reluctance, prompt Putin to strike now whilst he has an advantage?

The record of appeasement is not good. I guess we will all have seen that giving in to bullies just promotes more bullying!

I am sure that Putin will realise that the lead he has over NATO in missile superiority, will erode over the next few years. It is now or never for the man, and I don't think he will settle for never!
