I live in a country (the Uk) what religion does the Uk follow?, who states the Uk should follow a specific religion? and who enforces myself (and Muslim)s to follow it?

As far as i am aware we are a secular country and as such all are free to follow any religion you may choose......am I wrong?

If so please explain how and why?
