The award judges must’ve been happy with the Flight when they visited. Contractors were out in force when I was there yesterday, and have cut all the grass ready for winter.

The weed that’s causing the problem is floating pennywort - an invasive species, which, I think, is an issue nationally. (CRT Link)

I know local CRT staff & volunteers have been working to clear it, but it’s an arduous task. I did see piles of it alongside the towpath yesterday.
