Come to think about it, I have always fancied a stay at The Midland.

When I was a kid, they did not let the likes of us walk on the pavement in front of its doors!

Last time I stayed in Manchester, it was at Charles Street Conference Centre. Whilst I was there, they were installing their Foucault's Pendulum. I see it has now become The Pendulum Hotel.
