Public wifi systems, in places like caravan sites, usually cap the bandwidth available to each customer, at a level which is well below what is needed to stream any sort of streaming content, if you try and watch a service such has Netflix, it will just not work, and Netflix will display a message, saying that there is not enough available bandwidth.

But what you can do is download stuff from Netflix on to your devices, memory sticks etc, from your home broadband, and take it with you when you go away, and then you just play the content on to your television, via a suitable device LINK

If you do want to stream Netflix HD content, when you are away, then it can be done using a 5G connection, but the data required to do that will be expensive, 5G is not yet available everywhere, but eventually using a 5G data connection, maybe a more viable option, than using your home or business fixed line broadband service, 5G is very fast.

As regards myself and Netflix, it is only in recent times that I have subscribed to the service, in years gone by I looked at Netflix, but I thought it was crap, but in I think it was 2017 or 2018 I subscribed to Netflix just to watch 'Breaking Bad, and I only meant to have it for a month or two, and the price was I think £6.99 a month, but I was impressed by the content available, and the fact that it was in HD and Dolby quality, for seven quid a month, so I kept it, and 'binged' on numerous stuff which was available on there.

BUT

Slowly but surely, Netflix and Amazon Prime, have stopped releasing new productions, with all of the episodes being made available to watch immediately, thus allowing customers to 'binge' on them, watching episodes back to back, now new content is being release on an episode a week basis, same as mainstream television has always done so, and I have a feeling that is because, adverts may be being planned to be introduced, and also they have been putting the price up year on year, by a lot more than the inflation rate.

Netflix as just released the latest, and last series of 'Better call Saul' 13 episodes, with the last episode being released on the 22nd August 2022, that is more than 13 weeks away, so they are drip feeding a popular series like that, to ensure that they keep their subscribers, but folk are not stupid, and they will think about dooing, what I am thinking of dooing.

Which is telling Netflix, to go and take a long walk, off a short plank
