I would also like to add my reason's for us ( that is wigan ) breaking away from Andy Pandy's Greater Manchester and that's HE HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY BUGGER ALL FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF WIGAN .One only has to look at what is happening to one of our neighbours WARRINGTON , the investment that is pouring and generating in that town is unbelievable ,and when they will achieve " CITY " STATUS things will only get a whole lot better for them and i'm sad to say i think WIGAN IS BEING NEGLECTED AND BADLY TREATED , oh one might say the clown council are going to renovate our town centre with all that crap they are going do ie ( indoor bowling /crazy golf/cinema / house /flats . ALL this being done against the people's wishe's . GB
